I'm new to this, so any help is truly appreciated.
Here's the deal: I have a Windows Surface Pro running Windows 10. I have successfully installed the drivers and set the PC to communicate with the Tascam instead of the internal sound card.
When using Sonar, I can record and I can hear the mic all the time, but I can not hear playback. I have tried using both the headphone jack and output jacks. I have also assigned my outputs to all of the possibilities, but still no luck.
Given this situation, I decided to see if I could hear any output from the PC using the Tascam, but the problem remains. So, I suppose this is a hardware issue and not a problem with Sonar.
