Tascam to Sonar

I'm hoping someone can help with this one. I created a couple tracks on my Tascam DP-02 and exported them to my PC as individual tracks, not a master. The problem is I can't seem to import them into Cakewalk. I get an error that says the files aren't compatible. The Sonar instructions indicate wave files are ok and these are wav files?

The Tascam may have added some 'overhead' to the files that Sonar doesn't recognize... Try importing the tracks into Audacity and then back out again... I've found this helps strip any proprietary residue on them if it's there.
