Hello,
Long time user of my beloved Tascam MS16.
Channel 16 today decided to destroy my spirit.
It looks like it’s recording. Ie. The input shows movement on the VU and I hear it when live ‘input and sync’ mode. However, on playback the sound is gone and the VU does not move.
I’ve swapped the amp cards and it’s NOT the card. It’s something else on that channel. No matter which card I put in, that channel has the same issue. What else could it be? Any ideas welcome.
also... old recordings do play back on the problem channel, ie things I recorded prior to the issue! I just can't record and playback new sounds.
