Tascam M30 VU meters

I do not understand and can not find in Op manual what the #1 & #2 VU meters monitor and how to select what it would monitor. #3 & #4 seem to monitor output. Any help from an M30 user would be helpful. No movement of #1 or #2 with any inputs. Thank you

Meters 1 & 2 monitor the respective bus outputs. Depending on where the switch for them is set, 3 & 4 monitor those buses, the monitor out, or the 8X2 submix outs.

Rick answered the question but Hi Fi Engine has the M30 manual. The Op and Maintenance manual are the same. It is about 20MB.

Here is the relevant section from the diagram on page 20 of the manual dealing with the meters, the description is on page 28.

Incidentally the manual on Hi-Fi engine was uploaded by me.

Maybe there are jumper missing on the accessory part of those two buses.
