Hi guys,

I'm desperate to solve a problem. When I connect my headphone output from my amp to my FW1884 using a stereo to mono x 2 cable I get distortion and noise. It just doesn't give me a good sound at all. Are the units I'm using not compatible?
 
Where are you plugging the mono side of the cables into and from which amp (Samson or Yammy)? I'm assuming you're going into the 1884, but are you going into 2 input tracks, or....?
