Hi people.
I'm having a bit of a problem using my SR18 with my DP24.
I'm trying to lay down my drum tracks before I put down the rest of my tracks, but i'm hoping to put each individual drum on to separate tracks.
I am pretty new to this, but I believe I should do a few "passes" as the SR18 has 3 outputs, example being TK1 snare, TK2 kick, TK3 hats. Then do another pass putting TK4 crash etc etc. I believe I should use midi for this. So far I seem to be able to get the DP24 to control the SR18, but the tempo I have set on the SR18, 94 for example, I then press record on the DP24 and the tempo goes missing from the SR18 screen and the tempo speeds up. I'm wondering which i need to be the "master and "slave" for this and if there maybe something else I'm doing wrong here.
