I am new to recording. The DP-02 has vocal effects. When I use it, it sounds like it has too much echo. What settings or add-on effects can use? Thanks,

That sounds like either the built-in reverb or doubling. If it's the 'multi effects' that does the doubling/echo, you cannot change the settings, only change which preset multi-effect you use.

The DP-02 has two built in effects processors that can be used in your recordings and mixes. There are two types of effects on the DP-02: Multi-Effects and Reverb. The Multi-Effects can only be used on one of the inputs at a time while recording. The Reverb effect can be used on any of the tracks that have been recorded but not on tracks being recorded. To use the reverb effect:

1. Choose a track you want Reverb on and turn up the EFFECT SEND knob above that channel.

2. Turn up the EFFECT RETURN knob above the Master fader.

3. Press and Hold the SHIFT button and press the REVERB button so that the light is on next to the REVERB button, indicating the Reverb is on.

You can scroll through the different Reverbs by cursoring to Reverb Type and turning the Data wheel. You can change the Time of the effect by cursoring to it and turning the Data wheel.
