Tascam dp-02 cd clicks/won't eject

My unit is still under the 1 year parts warranty. Tascam will fix for $70 labor. Is there an alternative?

Good lord! ...... why have such a lack of humor?

Basically on something like that you can send it to them and have it fixed or you can throw it away. It's under parts warranty ....... you're not gonna be able to fix this yourself and you're gonna have to pay someone to do it ......... may as well be the guys that can definitely fix it. They'll probably just change out the drive.

My response was accurate ....... you want to be a tight ass who overreacts to something go right ahead.
