tascam and studio one

I need some help people.I would like to know does my tascam us600 interface work with the studio one v2 pro daw software if so im doing a recording project with a guy from my church recording live drums keys vocals etc so should i get cubase 6 or studio one v2 professional daw software.

Definitely. I'm sure others will chine in, there are many people here using exactly that combination.

Yes I will "chine" in hear and say that the tascam interfaces do work with reaper and quite well for the price. Listen to rami he speaks the truth and I think reaper is only 40$ but I never bothered to pay for it. Yes its practically free.

Your interface will definitely work with Studio One. Out of those two, might i suggest S1? It's fantastic for everything.

running a PC? i've had some good experiences with sonar. running mac? i love my copy of logic pro 9. both programs you can get from 100-200 american dollars. i'm running my us-800 into logic pro 9 right now and getting favorable drum sound only using 4 mic pres on the us800.
