Tascam 38 Service in Los Angeles Area?

I just picked up a Tascam 38 from a craigslist ad for next to nothing. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a few trustworthy shops in LA I could have this machine looked over, serviced and calibrated. I'm in the North Orange County area but would be willing to drive to LA. The closer the better of course.

Well, I'm not an audio shop, per se... but I repair broadcast equipment for a living. I also restore reel to reel machines as a hobby. Mostly Studer and Revox. I do have a few years experience with teacs and tascams.

If you like, I'll give it an unbiased look, and it won't cost you "shop rate".
You might be surprised how BAD the "pro from dover" at many shops IS. I clean up some too well paid tech's mess on a regular basis.

Just an offer. My opinion won't cost you anything, if you want to drive here.
I'm in LA, near Fox Hills in Baldwin Hills.
