tascam 133 manual

I started a new poat as the old one is dead.
I got the 133 and it is great. exept no matter what i do it only records silence.
I have the tracks armed, record and pause pressed. Levels are good and audible. I hit record/ play, it starts to record. BUT when i play back, only silence where i recorded. I tried it on a tape with music so i know it is leaving the blank space. What could it be?
Anyone have this unit?
 
Are there jumpers on the back of the unit for dbx noise reduction?

Are the jumpers missing? If so, that might explain your problem.

Yes! I only have jumpers on the first two. Is that it?
I also dont have xlr on the back? Why??
I'm missing jumpers on the 'To Encoder' section. Where can i get those?

Alternative

Or you could use a short 2x RCA - 2x RCA lead, not as tidy but would get it running until you get the right jumpers. You've probably got a spare one lying around somewhere :)

I see these guys do jumpers as well.

I don't know why I always misquote Tascam's number, since I call it often enough!

Tascam Parts' CORRECT NUMBER is (323)727-4840.
