Is there a way to build a talk-back to the ISO booth, most smaller boards don't come with one, and im getting tired if sign language...
 
I know this is cheap but I just and went and bought a wireless intercom from radio shack. Works great. Runs off ac. I took a small wood box and then shoved the guts from the intercom in the box and hung it on the wall in my track room. Looks pretty damn cool, better than the plastic off white housing. Works like a champ.

You can always just plug in another mic to the mixer and just feed the aux send that you are using to send to the ISO booth.

well, i took your advice and bought a wireles intercom and your right!! it does work like a champ, hardwired it in the line and no one would know the difference thanks!!
 
I'm glad it worked!! If my clients ever knew how jerry-rigged my studio actually was I would lose a lot of business.
