synth to mixer to home stereo - how to route

I have a Motif 8. I am currently listening to it through my Yamaha MSP 3 monitors. The piano patches sound flat through the monitors so I routed the Motif directly to my stereo and it sounds a lot better. What I would like to do is route the Motif into the mixer and have two outs, one to the monitors and one to the stereo, that way I can hear the Motif through both sets of speakers (this is for practicing, composing, etc. not for mixing). My question is 1) would it be safe to send a signal through the mixer then into my stereo, i.e. it won't hurt the stereo, no voltage or amp problems? 2) Which out do I use? I have a Behringer 2004 mixer and have already use my control room outs (to the monitors) and my main outs (to my computer) this leaves my main 3/4 outs and tape outs (RCAs).

Thanks,

Charlie

The Tape Out is actually a duplicate of the Main Mix output, only in -10 RCA connection. Sounds perfect for your needs.
