hi.dont really understand much about midi recording and hoping someone can advise me on this question...i am about to purchase a m-audio profire 610 audio interface and also something like the yamaha mm6 or roland dm synth.would the synth hook up directly to the interface and play the sounds in to my chosen software like cubase le for recording. and also play back at the same time through my active monitors?or am i missing the point somewere and need differant equiptment.sorry for the noob question but anything to do with midi really confuses me.cheers for any help
