I use a Korg d16 for recording, but I would like to be able to transfer my tracks to cakewalk on my computer. The d16 will generate MMC and MTC. If I wanted to synch the d16 with cakewalk, how would I do it. Lets say I got a soundcard/breakout box with midi in/out, could I transfer two tracks at a time (via the d16's stereo digital out) from the d16 to the computer? Is cakewalk capable of receiving and synching to MTC or MMC?
Any suggestions on the soundcard/breakout box to use? I guess it would have to have digital in (coax or optical - I could convert if needed), and i guess it would need midi in also.
