Hi there,
I've just bought a MIDI keyboard for my PC.
It has an input for the sustain pedal and I would like to build it myself if it's really so simple as I suppose.
I need a confirmation about the fact that a simple sustain pedal is just an on/off switch; is it so?
I mean, if I take a normal on/off switch and I connect it to the mono cable that I'm going to connect to the keyboard's input, will I obtain it to wotk properly?
I'm not worried about the polarity, I read on the manual that the polarity is read by the keyboard @ power-up and automatically adjusted.
Thanks a lot in advance
