Super basic

Clam Soup

Project 49
4 tracks - minimal effects.

I played two separate guitar tracks, but one of them had a pop so I deleted it and just duplicated the one left and then Eq'd the second track to separate it from the first.

Two vocal takes - The quieter of the two has "early reflection" reverb.

The louder gutiar and voice are free of any effects and EQ. I tried to add a shaker, but everytime I'd miss a beat I'd tense up and try to catch up.... and even though I'm alone, I became self conscious about looking like I'd french kissed a car battery, or was having some type of epileptic siezure. .... so I ditched it.

Anyway - the shortest song I ever wrote - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/48334051/If You're Patient.mp3

Don't you mean Clam Souper Basic? :laughings: Sorry. One again, great vocals. The doubling of the vocals seemed more subtle this time. Another good song.

Yeah ... I got some good advice on balancing the two vocal takes. I'm used to hearing background singers in most of the songs, so I've been trying to cover some of that space with the second take. .... but, there's a point where it is just too much me.

I wonder if Squires Rest would have any interest in this song?
