studio monitors

hi im looking to buy some monitors for my home studio iv trying to decided bettween these two

Behringer Studio Monitor Truth B2030P

and

Alesis Monitor One Mk2 Monitors

Out of the two which do u think is best suited for a home recording studio, mixing songs that my band has recorded

get the ones that suit your EARS the best. Take some commercial CDs you listen to on a regular basis and are familiar with and go to your nearest store and A/B both monitors and make your own decision. Everyone hears different.

If it were me personaly, I'd wait and save a little more. Those two particular choicesare at the bottom of the monitoring ladder.

Have a look into M-Audio, Wharfedale, and anything else in that price range, then go LISTEN

I agree with Lemon Tree. Take a commercial CD and listen to some. Go with what you like.

I run the M-Audio BX8a. A decent low - mid range studio monitor.
 
The best monitors are the ones you know the best. You know exactly how that monitor pair will translate into any other situation. The worst monitors are the ones you meet for the first time. :)
