How about a search of the forums?

The search will probably help and so will a budget if you have one.

My guess is that a search will probably give you three basic suggestions for budget monitors: Yorkville, Warfedale, M-Audio BX series. For more expensive stuff the choices are all over the alphabet from Adam to Tannoy with Mackie in the middle. If I had to buy monitors today and I had the cash I would look at the one of the Adam's family (monitor humor?) or the Mackie 824's.

unless ur living in a small town, go auditon urself is the only way to know which one u would prefer, with no offence, you wont get anywhere with opinions from ones only use budget speakers, which they would noramlly say, i like XX they work well with me and they are cheap
with no offence speaker is the probly.. the top 3 most subjective equipent in record/mix, i can't listen to any JBLs, KRK V6/8 ....due to their high end characteristic

for the new budget speakers, i personally perfer the new Samson R5/6a
i use ysm1p and hr824by the way

i sounded like another echo...
