Hi,

In a few weeks we're having a school show and later we will make a dvd of the show. Now I want to record de mics for better audio in our DVD. My plan was to send all the mics to aux 1 and place one mic in the audience (for background noise in the DVD) and send that to aux 2. Than I want to plug aux 1 in to input L on the uca200 and aux 2 in to input R and record it onto my pc to get a stereo track with on the left channel the sound of the microphones of the actors and on the right channel the sound of the audience. Than in my audio editor I can pan one track to the left and the other to the right to have 2 seperate audio tracks (one with the actors and one with the audience). But for a reason my recorder is only recording one aux stereo (with 2 exactly the same channels)

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance,
Michiel

What are 'aux 1 and aux 2'? From what device? What 'recorder' are you using? More info, dude!

Aux 1 and aux 2 are outputs on my mixer. I use different mixers (Behringer, Crest, Yamaha). I record with my laptop, software audacity/sony vegas pro 12.
