Stereo Pair of Vintage AKG C414EB's

I thought I'd check out the interest in the marketplace for a one owner stereo pair of early AKG C414 EB's, Serial # 1170 and 1187
These do have the original brass capsules, and are in as new condition.
Had been set up as a pair by AKG Austria many years back and have been together since new.
Comes with the AKG N46EI power supply, original mic cases,mic stands, and a pair of W11 wind screens.
4800 US for the pair

What makes them worth $2400 each? Even ebay won't pay that much for one of these, $1500 tops. Why are these two worth so much more? Are you the original owner? When did you buy them new?
