Sta-Level compressor

:eek:Yo Woof Woof in a Cave:

Well, I guess you're right. But, then, some folks like more "evidence" of quality and performance and sound lixiviation before dropping a large wad of pezzutos, like ME.

Summer is still here and there and rain has finally come to West Michigan.

Enjoy,

Maybe some folks should find a store that has a good return policy and try one out, because while it's probably worth it, whether or not some folks like it or not is pretty much some folk's opinion, and for $2500 they should listen for themselves.

My impression is, that is another LA-2A clone... pretty much a one trick pony, but dang, what a trick.

Give it a listen and see if it works for you.

Maybe build one and save some dough if you are good with a soldering iron.

:DYo Boing-whatever:

I can easily get one to try; I was just testing the "waters." Muddy Waters? Nay!

As I read more and more and learn from this board, lots of compression may screw up a good vocal track--amazing, isn't it?

I just did a session a day ago and mixed a few songs--cut off the DAW compression participle and got some good stuff--clear and bright words from the vocalist's pipes.

Happy Labor Day early.

Green Hornet;)
