I have read on this board that you can get an SRS effect (sound coming from behind you) by phasing a track/part of a track the opposite way. I am currently working on a mix where the guitar track has a phaser on it, and we're trying to get it to revolve around us. We've experimented with panning, but the best we've gotten so far is just going from left to right and vice versa, but what we're looking for is some 3Dness to the sound.
Is there a definite way to do this?
