soundfonts are reset

Hi,

I've got Cubase 5 running under Win ME with a Soundblaster Live. I manage to load and play back soundfonts ok.

The problem is that whenever I press the stop button on the transport bar (making the time marker jump to the in point) the soundfont is disabled and the general midi sound is enabled. The same thing occurs when I try to record the soundfont as audio by soloing and playing back the track and recording it simultaneously. I hit the record button but the sound played back is the GM sound, not the soundfont I loaded.

Any ideas?

I don't know exactly where you would locate the parameter, but I bet you have Cubase configured to send a MIDI "reset-all" on stop.

I'd try the transport or midi settings menus.
