Sound Forge Editing question

This may be a dumb one,
but I am editing some older
tracks in Sound Forge. I just
purchased it and I am learning
it. I have one vocal that clips, just
for one whole note. Will Sound Forge
offer up a way to get rid of the snap
of this clipped note? What is the
best technique to deal with this, other than
not clipping when recording?
 
Well as you said, the best way is to prevent this while recording, if it occurs, zoom deep into the clipped zone and if it is just a small portion, use the pencil tool to draw the wave and take out the clip. Its been a long time sonce I've used Sound Forge, but the pencil tool was very easy and helpful.
