Sonys XFX effects?

hi all, is it just me, or does Sonys XFX, that come with Acid Pro 6, have the worst presets for Vocal Editing, its all to exagerated, I have to alter and save my own all the time, compared to old programs like cool edit pro 2, which have great presets, am i the only one who finds XFX defults useless?

I never use any of the presets for anything more than a starting point for custom ones. It's funny to take a drum loop and apply wave hammer to it and switch through the presets. I'll find the Distorted Guitar, Bass or some other unrelated preset better than the Percussion preset most of the time. I doubt very much thought went into them. I do like the Sewer preset in the reverb though. I actually used it on a track too
