Sony? tube mic with BIG heatsink

I saw and heard this tube mic with a big heatsink on it. I believe it was a sony.

Does anyone know what mic this was?

I thought it sounded nice, what does everyone else think?

What you witnessed was the Sony C800GPAC, and it goes for about 6k$. An amazing mic for those who can afford it!!

FWIW... I've never been that big a fan of the C-800G... I've never been in a situation where the Brauner VM-1 or the Soundelux ELUX 251 wasn't a better choice for the application... as always, YMMV.
