Bought this quadradial deck a few months back. When I tested it, FF and rewind worked, but not Play.
Took a while to find a belt. Today I opened up the deck to discover the belt is fine. Can't figure out why
the right turntable won't revolve. Any suggestions? (I do have the manual with schematics).

Does the pinch roller move to meet the capstan when you engage play mode? It is common to find that parts of the mechanism don't move properly due to dried up grease.

Yes, the pinch roller is meeting the capstan...but the take up reel (the right turntable) is not moving. Thats the problem.
So, FF is not working either. Rewind does work.
