Sonar with Sound Forge

When you use Sound Forge for editing, how do you transfer your audio clip into Sound Forge, then back to your Sonar track? I've never used it, so I know nothing about this procedure. It doesn't look like the Sonar book explains how to use third party editing programs in conjuction with Sonar.

Highlight the clip and then go to Tools -> Sound Forge. Sound Forge will open with the clip loaded. Make your changes and save them in Sound Forge. When you return to Sonar you will be notified that the clip has been modified and asked if you want to accept the changes.
