Sonar compatable?

okay im trying to get everythang going for a basic studio ive got my mic condensor and i've got sonar now im planning on getting a yamaha 10c mw 10 channel usb mixer first will sonar(cakewalk 8.0 producer) just pick the mixer up or will it not even be compatabale?? okay and another lil question i have just a basic pc compaq will the cakewalk be too much for it??or will i HAVE to have a soundcard??? soz just need some answers THX :)

I don't see you having any problem the 10c - but make sure you use the ASIO drivers.
As for Sonar 8 runnig on a "basic pc"..?? well I've had it runnig on an AMD XP2000 but with only very few plugins...;)
