SONAR 8 keeps dropping out!!

Ok, as a last resort...after a lot of research I could'nt find any info on what my problem was. I checked the manual, did all they recommended me to do. I still have the problem of the audio dropping out. It happens while playback AND recording. But here's the thing...it plays back PERFECTLY, if I am playing it through my built in soundcard.

But when playing back using my EMU-0404 USB...it will distort and just dropout!

I don't think my CPU is the problem, since the highest it got was about 16%...and I have 3GB of RAM

Its ANNOYING!!

Can anyone recommend any other remedies, because I really like this program and I would hate to return it.

Is there a setting that I am missing??

If you can give us more info...

What else (if anything) is plugged into USB?
Are you using the ASIO or WDM drivers for the EMU-0404?
Network Card enabled?
Internal soundcard enabled with the EMU??
Buffer/Latency settings?
Have you applied the 8.01/.02 or 8.31 patches?

Applied 8.02 patch, and also found out my 0404 has a new driver patch as well. All good now!!!
