You really need more memory. 384 is barely minimal seeing as Windows uses a good portion of it.
Regarding the latest rev. 3.1, There are more stall problems in this latest rev than my 1989 Mazda B2200 pickup.
It has lower CPU cycles but numerous people are getting dropouts when solo a track or mute/un-mute. Lot's of crashes.
They need to pull it back instead of letting people keep running into problems. Over at the site they are offering up checkbox solutions which really have nothing to do with the existing problems.
By the way, the dropouts are prevalent in the track view but the same actions in the console view don't have a problem.
I suggest holding off the upgrade unless your looking to do some serious tweaking.
