Sonar 2XL: monitoring insert FX (problem)

I'm having trouble monitoring track insert FX in Cakewalk Sonar 2XL. I assume its possible to listen to chorus, delay, or other insert FX (like Amplitube) as I'm laying down a guitar track? I've tried all of the settings I'm aware of that should clear this up, but I only get a dry signal thru headphones with a track armed to record. Playback is no problem, I can hear the insert FX just fine then. I'm not a newbie but I'm still dealing with a few learning curve issues. I am using a M-audio Delta 66 card/Omni studio interface. Perhaps it's a Delta 66 control panel setting I'm overlooking?

Mainly I would like to be able to hear/play the Amplitube amp tones as I'm overdubbing parts. Any pointers greatly appreciated.

Yes, it's possible and it's called Input Monitoring. You'll find it under Options -> Audio -> Input Monitoring. Just activate the drivers you want to use.

BUT your latency needs to be low, under 5 ms.
