Someone help please

Is there anyway to ensure that I do not receive errors when I record in cakewalk pro audio 9?

Here is the errors I get sometimes when the program is writting audio waves:

Kernal32.dll
Invalid Page Fault
Blue Screen "Windows Protection Error"

I rarely receive a drop out error so I guess the computer can handle what I am doing Here is the specs:

AMD K-6 450 MGZ
256 RAM
4 Gig 5400 RPM Drive
Windows 98SE
Delta 66 SoundCard

Check this out... when I first installed Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 I had the same problem. The last part is what worked for me, the "Registry Clean and Reinstall of Cakewalk" steps.
