On my 10 year old roland 800 piano I've got a few keys-3 or 4- that depress normally but do not produce sound. Most are around middle C. I thought maybe some erasure particles might have gotten into the mechanism, so I've used that forced air between the keys and gotten a little, but only temporary , improvement.
I love the sound and would like to salvage this piano if I can.
I'm trying to avoid slugging the 50 lb piano out to a technician here in Manhattan.
I would appreciate any suggestions you could offer. Please be aware that I'm an ultra newbie at technical matters!
