Snarling Dogs Effects Question HELP!!

I want to know the tonal differences between Snarling Dogs "Tweed E Dog" and "Black Dog".

In other words: 6L6 or EL32 tubes distortion?

Do they sound good or are they crap?

Any experiences and/or advices?
