snare mics other than a 57

Just curious what everyone uses aside from an sm57 on the snare. After playing around with placement, I realized that I like my beyer m69 tons better than a 57, in almost any circumstance. A friend uses an atm23 on snare, and he always gets incredible snare sounds.
 
And why not list your favorite recording chains for snare while you're at it.
I had a nice session the other night recording an old wooden Premier (I think), with an atm23 going through a Toft atc-2, no eq or compression needed.
 
Depending on the drums AND drummer, I like either an AKG C-1000 or a MD-441 besides the ever popular 57. I've used a GT AM-52 (in fig 8) as well.
