NEWBIE POSTING HERE!
If any one has an SM57 Unidyne III parts diagrams, schematic, manual, net link or reference to one on the net please let me know it would help me a lot. I have a working 57 III with a broken brass snap around "collar" that secures the cover for the diaphram to the body of the mic. Rather than tape the cover in place w/electrical tape I'd rather braze the parts back together and clean the screen in the cap. Problem is I don't want to try to take apart the cap without knowing whether it 's threaded or was permanently glued or if it's possible to just pop the screen out the top of the cap.
