I recently picked up a pair of used SM 87b's for live performance. There is no physical damage evident. Jst a little worn on the hand grip. And they are an older model with the on/off switch.
I really like the sweet sound they put out as a vocal condenser, but one of them has this terrible buzz... or static... kind of like when you need to lift the ground on a DI box... I can only pick it out when the room is almost quiet (60dB or so...)
Anyways... I was wondering if anyone could help me troubleshoot this problem...
