Simple DAW for mixdown

I need a simple daw just to mixdown form my analog mixing console. It needs to have ability to use outboard gear as an insert and have some basic edit options.
I was using cubase sx before I had to reinstall all my system, but I didnt use 98% of its options anyway. Please let me know If you know something.

"simple" - please define. Just about any full-featured DAW is going to have a learning curve. Some are more intuitive than others. Reaper is free to download and try out. Pay $60 when you want to register it.

Hello janusz,

If you want a simple DAW, and you are already used to Cubase SX3 you should check out Cubase Elements 7.
It is a compact version of Cubase 7 (The full version) but at a very affordable price:
