I found a guy on craisglist selling a sm85(not a 58) for $45. From what I've found out so far its similar to the current SM86, both being cardioid hand-held condensers. Even though the SM87 has a more similar appearance its a super cardioid.
Anyone have any thoughts on the SM85? Sounds like a good deal at $45 to me as long as it hasn't been dropped and is in good working condition.
