Shure SM7 or Sennheiser MD421?

It looks like they're both pretty much the same price, and I've heard great things about both of them. I guess the only real deciding factor is which one is gonna sound better on "screamy" vocals (I record a lot of metal and hardcore bands from around here). I understand that one will probably sound better on a certain voice and vice versa, but in general. Right now I'm going through a Firepod, either with it's built in pres or a DMP3, and an RNC into Sonar.
Advise?

i don't have any experience with the 421, but i've heard the sm7 works wonders on screamers.

i have an sm7, but am not a screamer. however, i do think this mic is wonderful, and works well my my tenor voice. i do mostly acoustic rock and blues.
