Shure SM series rebate

There are many recommendations for the Shure mics on here. Shure is running their rebate offer again this year, just in time for Christmas. It sure was a nice addition to my stocking-stuffer that I got last year.

Last year I tried to take advantage of this rebate. I received a letter from Shure stating that what I had sent them was not a UPC symbol and that if I were to send them the UPC symbol then they could send me the rebate. Since I had, in fact, sent the UPC I had nothing else to give them. It wasn't worth the $10 for me to fight it or complain. At the end of the day, I paid a sale price on a 57 and Shure got to keep my $10.
