So yeah, thats basically my question. I live in NYC and was wondering if it is best to send only to publishers here in NYC? Does it matter where they are located?
Should you only send music to music publishers where you live?

I don't have the qualifications/experience to give you a professional answer but I am in London, U.K. and I intend to submit Country songs to publishers in the U.S.
I reckon it's a small world now with the internet and anyway, I'll probably be prepared to fly out to Nashville or wherever for a face-to-face meet if anybody shows the slightest interest!
