i play both guitar and bass. i currently own a v amp 2, a bass v amp and a j station. i don't play live i just record and produce hip hop music. when i use the v amp i either use the soldano or mesa/boogie simulations. just hi gain stuff power chords, drop d tuning. my only complaint about the v-amp is that there's a delay when switching between pre-amps therefore, it wouldn't be that good for live use. a lot of people say that the vox tonelab is the best amp sim out there. only problem is they've yet to develop a bass version. are they going to develop a bass version? would it be worth it to upgrade to the tonelab or am i pretty much set as far as tone?
