She Don't Know Me

Great Musicianship!

Man!
The group sounds like they would be a blast to record.
Over these tiny computer speakers it sounds like the music could come up in the mix to better support the vocal. Again take it with a grain of salt.

I hear ya, the vocal does jump out on my tiny computer speakers too. I still have to find the balance between different play back environments (Car, home stereo, computer).

I thought the performance was real good.

The recording is a bit quiet. How was it recorded? Sounds like there weren't too many mics used (maybe only one). Some plosives on the vocals.

But again, the group was real tight.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Plosives on the vocals"

It was recorded Live at one of our gigs.

I used 3 Mics on the drumset Kick AKG D112, snare SM57 and one MXL603 O.H. I miked the guitar amp with an SM57 and the singer uses a Sennheiser E845. Bass and Keys went direct in from the board.

I also notice that the music is a bit low in level relative to the vocal. I need to pick up some good monitors, I think that will help my mixes.

Thanks for your response
