I'm in the process of mixing an album at a friend's studio in ProTools on a Mac. I bought a 160GB Firewire ACOM Data external hard drive to store my Protools Files, and also as a way to carry aiff and wav files back to my PC-based home studio for mastering (I have Cubase). I'm also contemplating getting Protools from my PC so I can work on the original projects at home.
I haven't installed the drive on either system, yet. I think this should be possible, e.g. save my stuff from Mac and use it on the PC, but what is the best way to do it? There's conflicitng stuff on the net. Thanks!
