Setup help??

I'm considering two pc-based setups, and I'd like some input from you who have some perspective on this:

a) M-Audio Delta 1010 w/my 90s Tascam 8x4x2 mixer
b) Presonus FirePod - with or without the Tascam

Also, is Cubase LE (which comes w/the FirePod) comparable to, say, a $100 app like Sonar4 Home Studio?

I use Cubase SE, which is basically the same as LE, with a few additional effects per channel and unlimited midi tracks. It is a very solid piece of software. I would say that is is every bit as powerful as Cakewalk Home Studio or other similar programs. There is a bit of a learning curve with any software, but once you figure it out, it will continually amaze you.
