Hi there, I have recently entered the world of of logic 9 and i am looking to use a roland td8 drum kit tomorrow to control the supplied drumkits in logic 9. I have a focus rite saffire pro 24 with midi in and out
Do I have to connect both the midi in and midi outs or can I just go from the out of the drum kit into the input of the Saffire pro 24
Also im not quite sure on the setup process, if I choose one of the drumkits in logic as my instruments, will the pads on my td8 be automatically configured to the snare, toms ,kick drum etc in logic? I have tried to search through youtube for video explaining this but I cant seem to find what I'm looking for.
if anyone could explain or post a link on how to set this up, that would be great
