ok so i have a question. im recording by using my yamaha mg 16/4's direct outs, going into my delta 1010. on the mixer, the direct outs say they are 0dBU, and on the delta 1010 the inputs are switchable for +4dBU or -10dBu. when i am recording, it seems like having the switches on -10dBU makes the recorded signal wayyyy to loud, and having them on +4dBU makes them really quiet. how should i set this? i don't wanna clip my tracks, but i also don't wanna under record them.

I use a 1010LT.

There's a 'consumer' level output too, it's in between so why not use that? Works for me.

Also if you click on the sliders button you can manually adjust the output levels.

This is assuming the control panel for the 1010 is the same as the 1010LT.

Hope this helps anyway.

Different control panel, Kevin. The 1010 is a pro card, no consumer level.
